Product Description


South Africa's favourite biltong seasoning, now popular in Australia, UK, USA, Canada and China. Can also be used to season steak or lamb ribs for frying or grilling, or even to add some zest to your poitjiekos.

Instructions. Cut the meat into strips and weigh. Calculate the spice required at 45 g per Kg meat. If desired, add vinegar or Worcester sauce at 50-100 g per Kg meat. Mix the meat and the spice well, cover and refrigerate overnight. Hang to dry.

Ingredients: Flavouring [celery, maize flour, maize meal, colourants, flavour enhancer (MSG, E621), hydrogenated vegetable fat (palm fruit), anticaking agent, acidity regulator, spice extract (anti-oxidant TBHQ)], salt, spices, sugar. Preservative potassium sorbate.

Allergens: Celery. May contain cow's milk, egg, mustard, soy, wheat gluten.
